Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to Russia's missile strike on the center of Kharkiv on December 30, according to his evening address to the nation.

According to the Ukrainian president, rescue workers are continuing their operations at the site of the shelling in Kharkiv. Zelenskyy stated that Russia will face accountability for each strike inflicted on Ukrainian regions, both politically and practically.

"Right now, a rescue operation is underway in Kharkiv again... And for every such strike on Kharkiv, our Kherson region, cities and villages of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia region... For all strikes on Odesa, Sumy, Kyiv, and all other cities and regions For every Shahid, for every Russian rocket, there will be a just responsibility of the terrorist state. Both political and very practical," Zelenskyy declared.

Russians attack on the center of Kharkiv

On the evening of December 30, Russian forces targeted the center of Kharkiv, launching missiles that hit the Kharkiv Palace hotel and a residential building. According to employees of the Office of the Prosecutor General, at present, 21 casualties are known, including a foreigner and a child.

Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, stated that there were two powerful explosions in the city center, caused by S-300 missiles launched from the Belgorod region.

Incidentally, photographs have emerged depicting the current state of the Kharkiv Palace hotel, which was hit by the Russian attacks.
