Zelenskyy releases video of aftermath following Russian attack on Kharkiv
On the evening of October 30, Russia struck a nine-story residential building in Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb. Videos of the aftermath have already been released online, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Dariia Zarivna, adviser to the Head of the President’s Office.
"Tragically, there are casualties, including children, and more people may still be trapped under the rubble. All necessary emergency services are on site," Zelenskyy stated.
President Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine’s partners witness what is happening daily. In this situation, every postponed decision by allies means at least dozens, if not hundreds, of similar Russian bombs hitting our country — taking "the lives of our people."
"That is why we must stop Russia together — and do so with all possible force," he stressed.
Meanwhile, Dariia Zarivna, adviser to the Head of the President’s Office, also posted a video showing rescuers clearing the debris to save lives and added her own comment.
“In Kharkiv, Russian forces hit a building with a guided bomb. A child is under the rubble. I hate them,” she wrote.
As a reminder, the explosion in Kharkiv occurred around 10:51 PM (Kyiv time). Following the incident, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov clarified that Russian forces struck a multi-story building with guided bombs. The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration confirmed that the attack was recorded in the Saltivskyi district.
As of the latest information at 11:52 PM, 18 people are reported injured.
