Zelenskyy reacts to Russia's plans to engage DPRK troops in war against Ukraine
Russia is increasing its alliance with North Korea. The Ukrainian military now needs more support from its partners, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“We see an increasing alliance between Russia and regimes like North Korea. It is no longer just about transferring weapons. It is actually about the transfer of people from North Korea to the occupier's military forces. Obviously, in such circumstances, our relations with our partners need to be developed. The front needs more support,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
The President explained that when Ukraine talks about more long-range capability for Ukraine and more decisive supply for our forces, it is not just a list of military equipment.
“This is about increasing pressure on the aggressor, which will be stronger for Russia than they can withstand. And it is about preventing a bigger war,” the head of state said.
According to Zelenskyy, true peace can only be achieved through strength.
“The whole next week will be devoted to working with our partners - for the sake of such strength, for the sake of true peace. The teams will work. We will also work with leaders. We hope that decision-making will not be delayed,” he summarized.
