"A rescue operation is currently underway in Kryvyi Rih following the strike on the shopping mall. All necessary forces are involved. Unfortunately, many people have been injured. It was a deliberate, despicable attack by several Russian drones—one after another," the head of state said.
The president said that, so far, 14 people were known to have been killed and more than 100 injured, including 11 children.
"Information is still being gathered about everyone who may have been inside this shopping mall. This is an absolute Russian atrocity. They are beasts. We will definitely respond," Zelenskyy stressed.
He emphasized the importance of the world not remaining silent about Russian strikes and added that Russian war must be brought to an end.
