Ukrainian long-range drones are accurately striking Russian invaders in temporarily occupied Crimea and destroying the enemy’s logistics, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at the Crimean Platform summit in New York.

Zelenskyy noted that Ukrainian strikes are aimed at preventing Russia from turning Crimea into one large military base.

"We have to do this to protect the lives of our people. Our long-range drones are accurate, our pressure on Russian logistics is producing results. And the Russian war machine is facing serious, very serious difficulties," the president said.

Strikes on Russian forces in Crimea

On the night of September 23, Ukrainian forces hit two aircraft at the Kacha airfield in occupied Crimea.

On the evening of September 21, Russia complained about a Ukrainian drone attack on the Foros resort in temporarily occupied Crimea. This location is known as the FSB dacha, where Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly vacationed personally.

For the first time in history, Ukrainian intelligence destroyed two enemy Be-12 Chaika amphibious aircraft. This happened in temporarily occupied Crimea.

According to Russian media, in the night attack on September 21, air defense facilities and military infrastructure were damaged in temporarily occupied Crimea.
