Zelenskyy on second Peace Summit: Ukraine will prepare plan, and Russia will join if it wishes
Ukraine will prepare a plan for the second Peace Summit. If representatives of Russia wish, they will have the opportunity to attend the meeting, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky during the Ukraine 2024. Independence Forum.
According to the President, Russia's participation in the Peace Summit is "the wish of all countries" that believe this could help end the war.
"We will prepare a plan, and if the representatives of the Russian Federation wish, they will attend; otherwise, we may lose a significant number of countries at the second Summit," Zelenskyy stated.
Peace Summit
In June, the first Peace Summit dedicated to the full-scale war in Ukraine took place in Switzerland. Representatives from more than 100 countries and international organizations participated in the event. After the meeting, most participants signed a joint communiqué. Russia was not invited to the Summit, but some participants expressed support for its inclusion in future meetings.

Currently, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to develop a peace plan by the end of 2024, based on the implementation of Ukraine's peace formula.
