Ukraine clearly understands why Russia plans to mobilize an additional 300,000 military personnel. A strong response is necessary, stated President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in the evening address.
"We clearly understand what Russia is preparing for, what they want, what they will gather soldiers for in their army. And we, all of us, together with our partners, must have a strong response to Russian operations - any Russian operations," emphasized the head of state.
He noted that Ukraine must win this war. This is a historic chance to break the revanchism of the Russians, and such an opportunity must be seized.
What preceded
Today, April 3, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced that Russia is preparing an additional mobilization of 300,000 people.
According to him, as per the plans of the aggressor country, such mobilization is expected to take place by June 1.
At the same time, a few days ago, the head of the Ukrainian state warned that the occupiers are preparing for a new offensive. It may start as early as the end of May or the beginning of June.
