President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Armenia soon. The date of the visit has not been confirmed, reports Factor TV.

It is noted that the visit of the President of Ukraine to Armenia is currently being prepared. At the moment, negotiations are underway with the Ukrainian side about the terms.

"Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected to arrive in Yerevan in March," the article states.

Valeriy Lobach, Ukraine's envoy in Armenia, did not refute this information to Factor TV journalists.

First, he was asked a question about the possible consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war in the South Caucasus, to which the diplomat replied "actually, there is a lot to say now, but I can't say anything yet."

What else did the diplomat say?

"In a few days you will hear the news yourself and know what will happen. For my part, I will say that Ukraine is ready to support Armenia. Without opening the brackets, you will see in a few days," the diplomat said.

According to him, Ukraine will do everything to settle and stabilize the region. When the journalist asked if he meant a possible visit of the President of Ukraine, Valery Lobach answered that "spring will bring many positive events to Armenia."

Relations between Armenia and Ukraine

Armenia does not support the Russian invasion of Ukraine and periodically declares its position.

Recently, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated that Armenia is not an ally of Russia in the issue of Ukraine. The politician recalled the international law on the recognition of state borders and emphasized the friendship of Armenians with the Ukrainian people.

Also, Armenia transferred another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Yerevan handed over about 10 tons of medicines and medical supplies.

And in October, during his visit to Italy, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan for the first time.
