Zelenskyy meets with Vance and Rubio in Vatican, sources say

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a source informs.
Later, Ukraine's Presidential Press Secretary Serhiy Nykyforov confirmed to journalists that the president met with Vance and Rubio.
At around 4:10 PM Kyiv time, he said the meeting had ended.
As of 4:40 PM, there was no official information about the course or topics of the talks.
This was Zelenskyy's first meeting with Vance after the White House dispute. The meeting took place during the ceremony of the enthronement of Pope Leo XIV.
The White House dispute
On February 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to Washington on a working visit.
The trip was expected to include his first in-person meeting with US President Donald Trump since Trump’s election.
However, a dispute broke out between the leaders during a conversation with journalists.
Trump made several pointed remarks toward Zelenskyy, claiming Ukraine "might not survive without US support."
Due to the dispute between Zelenskyy and Trump, their meeting ended early.
