President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is already preparing new measures to protect its citizens from the Russian invasion and shelling.

The president specifically mentioned yesterday's Russian strike on a multi-story building in the city of Dnipro. According to him, everything necessary is being done to clarify all the circumstances of the tragedy.

"Russia will certainly be held accountable for this terror against Ukraine," he said.

Zelenskyy also announced new measures to protect Ukraine from Russian terror.

"We are preparing new decisions for our strength and for the protection of our people. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine," he emphasized.

Dnipro shelling

On the evening of Friday, June 28, Russia struck the city of Dnipro, hitting a residential high-rise building. A rescue operation is currently underway at the scene.

According to rescuers, apartments from the 8th to the 11th floors in one of the building's entrances have been destroyed.

As of 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 29, it is known that 13 people were injured, including a pregnant woman and a child, and one person was killed as a result of the shelling.
