Today's Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief meeting was "special", where President Volodymyr Zelenskyy listened to detailed reports at all levels. Recent Russian mass air attacks on Ukraine and the situation on the front line were also analyzed, according to the evening video address of the head of state.

"I just have held a special, lengthy, and detailed meeting of the Staff," noted Zelenskyy. According to him, reports were presented by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, regional authorities, and commanders of the operational and strategic military formations.

"Our country will definitely have enough mines and concrete."

"All finances are available. All decisions are in place. There should be comprehensive corresponding work in the communities. Everything is fully itemized - our country will definitely have enough mines and concrete. We need greater speed and efficiency, and everyone who is responsible for this has clear tasks," said Zelenskyy.

Air defense systems' work and mass air attacks

At today's Staff meeting, there was "an important analysis of recent attacks against Ukraine - missiles, mass drone strikes." The meeting participants analyzed the tactics of the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces in repelling enemy bombardments.

"There is a clear need to develop and reinforce our mobile firing groups as well as to get all highly effective air defense systems. We separately reviewed the work of Patriots and Nasams - everything is highly effective, and I am grateful to the partners who assist us specifically with these systems," said the President.

Zelenskyy adds that the Commander of the Air Force and other relevant commanders, as well as the Ministry of Defense, received "necessary instructions".

Frontline situation

"There were, of course, reports from commanders on all fronts. Special attention was paid to the Donetsk directions: Avdiivka, Maryinka, the Bakhmut area," said the head of state.

The President specifies that these areas witnessed the most intense combat clashes in the past day.

"I thank all our warriours for their strength and resilience. The Kupiansk direction - I want to particularly highlight the holding of our positions there. We also discussed our actions in the southern fronts," Zelenskyy shared.

"Preparing long-range stuff"

The head of state adds that today he also conducted a separate meeting with the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.

"I can say it was optimistic. We are preparing, among other things, some serious, long-range stuff to make sure that the occupiers feel the might of Ukraine," he remarked.

The signing of the state budget

Zelenskyy also mentions the signing today, November 28, of the law on the state budget for 2024.

"It's evident that its main priority is protection against Russian aggression. However, we're also taking into account the social needs of our people and fulfilling our country's social obligations in full," said the president.

The head of state emphasizes the extraordinary importance during a full-scale war for every citizen in need of state support to receive it.

"And everyone who is currently creating jobs, who is preserving businesses, and even developing them, everyone who is in Ukraine and with Ukraine, working honestly and supporting others, they all support our defense and our progress to Ukrainian goals," Zelenskyy concluded.
