Zelenskyy held Staff meeting: military advancement results announced
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss the situation on the front lines and the support from our partners, according to Zelenskyy's statement.
Important reports from commanders were heard during the meeting.
"Thanks to every soldier, every brigade that holds positions firmly. Avdiivka, Bakhmut direction, Maryinka, Shakhtarsk direction. And Kupiansk and Zaporizhzhia direction. Well done, guys!" - said the president.
He also thanked those who powerfully destroyed the logistics and bases of the invaders on our land. Zelenskyy announced achievements in this direction. Moreover, according to agreements, he thanked some of our allies for effective weapons.
"We have resulted in our advancement, the result of our guys' assault actions, and these are the key news for our state. Every day, every week, Ukraine specifically needs such results. Every day, every week, we need to maintain initiative. I thank everyone who acts this way - every kilometer passed, every line of defense of the occupier overcome - all this matters. The consistency of our results is the consistency of Ukraine's global support," he said.
The president noted that there was also a report on the defense of the Black Sea shores, the Danube region, and, accordingly, the protection of people, ports, and our exports.
Participants also discussed international politics and existing changes. Government officials and intelligence presented reports.
"There are many challenges. But no matter what threats there are, our response is our strength. Our unity. To defend Ukraine and its national interests, to be in or with defense. To help. To take care of those nearby. To find your place in the joint work of the people - this is important," added Zelenskyy.
