Zelenskyy flags unpredictable shifts in US relations, seeks talks on two themes

Many unexpected issues have arisen in relations between Ukraine and the US. This does not correspond to a partnership between the countries, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his visit to London.
During a joint appearance with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, the head of the Ukrainian state emphasized that Ukraine is ready for any kind of ceasefire.
Separately, he drew attention to the fact that Russia is launching massive attacks on Ukraine today, and that "some difficulties" have also arisen.
"What I want to discuss with them [is] about Starlink and about intelligence. I mean, there are lots of different surprises on which you can't count on when you have a partnership. And we count on partnership with the United States. We just want to be very honest, very clear and be strong partners," Zelenskyy emphasized.
In turn, the head of the British government stated that his country is accelerating the supply of air defense systems to Ukraine.
Crisis in Ukraine-US relations
Last week, the US authorities reached an agreement with Moscow on the supply of Russian diesel fuel. For this reason, some sanctions against Russia were suspended.
Also, according to media reports, Washington threatened to halt intelligence sharing with Kyiv if Ukrainian forces continue to strike Russian oil refineries.
Just yesterday, October 13, US President Donald Trump assured that intelligence sharing had not been halted.
At the same time, it became known that the US has restricted the operation of the "military package" of Starlink in Ukraine. According to RBC-Ukraine sources, the Ministry of Defense is already in contact with Washington regarding this issue.
