There are still plenty of air defense systems in Europe that are not being used. They can provide reliable protection for Ukraine, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Head of State reminded that this week had brought Ukraine brutal strikes by Russia against Kharkiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Sumy regions. In fact, drone and missile strikes are taking place every day.

Zelenskyy noted that every meeting and every negotiation with partners who have appropriate air defense systems is always a conversation about additional protection of Ukraine from Russian terror. And our country will continue to convince its partners.

“Here in Europe, on the continent, there are enough air defense systems that can provide Ukraine with truly reliable protection. And this cannot be understood when air defense systems are just standing there. Standing idle when each system can save hundreds or even thousands of lives. We will continue to convince our partners,” the President summarized.

Earlier, in the same address, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine was increasing its own arms production. In particular, in 2024, the country crossed the 100-missile mark.
