Zelenskyy arrives in Türkiye and outlines his plans for the visit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Türkiye today, February 17. He is set to meet with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, according to the Ukrainian head of state on Facebook.
As Zelenskyy noted, he arrived in Türkiye together with First Lady Olena Zelenska.
The president emphasized that he and the First Lady plan to hold meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wife, Emine Erdoğan.
"Prisoner exchanges – all efforts will continue to bring our people home. Food security. The First Lady’s educational and cultural diplomacy," Zelenskyy added.
Zelenskyy's visit to Türkiye
Earlier, Turkish President's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would meet with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, tomorrow, February 18.
According to Altun, the leaders plan to discuss the latest developments in Ukraine and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
Zelenskyy and Erdoğan last met in September last year.
