President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Albania after a visit to Türkiye to participate in the European Political Community Summit, RBC-Ukraine reports, referring to the Press Secretary of Ukraine's President Serhiy Nykyforov.

According to the press secretary, the President of Ukraine is currently in Tirana.

What is European Political Community?

The European Political Community is a platform for political and strategic dialogue on the future of Europe. It was established in 2022, following the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

The initiative was proposed by French President Emmanuel Macron in May of the same year. During its first meeting, leaders of 44 countries came together.

Zelenskyy's visit to Türkiye

On May 15, President Zelenskyy was in Ankara, Türkiye, where he later held a meeting with his counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The meeting between the two leaders was closed to the press, but it is known that the negotiations and working dinner, which involved both delegations and took place at the presidential complex, lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Overall, the President of Ukraine arrived in Türkiye for a potential meeting with Vladimir Putin, but the latter never confirmed his visit and instead sent a delegation for negotiations with Ukraine.
