Today, a summit of European leaders on Ukraine will take place in London. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has already arrived, informs The Guardian and media outlets.

Currently, the Ukrainian president is at Lancaster House, where, according to The Guardian, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer greeted him with a warm embrace. Before their meeting, they had a brief conversation.

Agenda of the summit

Earlier today, the UK government announced that the summit in London will focus on Ukraine. Leaders from over 10 countries, as well as officials from the EU and NATO, will participate.

The main topics of the upcoming summit will include:

  • Strengthening Ukraine’s position now, including ongoing military aid and increased economic pressure on Russia;
  • The need for a strong and long-term agreement to ensure sustainable peace in Ukraine and guarantee the country’s ability to deter and defend against possible future attacks from Russia;
  • The next steps in developing reliable security guarantees.
