Zelenskyy: Armed Forces of Ukraine preparing for further enemy activity
The Defense Forces of Ukraine are preparing for further activity by Russian troops and have a clear understanding of their objectives, according to the evening address by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to Zelenskyy, today he received reports from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff, Anatoliy Barhylevych, and Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, regarding the situation at the front and the future actions of Ukrainian forces.
"Attention to all directions. We are preparing for further enemy activity—we clearly understand the tasks and purposes that Putin sets for his army. He will get our response—definitely," stated the President.

According to the latest data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total number of combat clashes has increased to 60 since the beginning of the current day, May 29. The highest number of clashes occurred in the Pokrovsk direction.
According to a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian fighters have achieved success during counteroffensive actions in the Kharkiv region.
