Zelenskyy appoints 16 new ambassadors of Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. New ambassadors of Ukraine were appointed.
"After the briefings by the military and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine this morning, I held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Office team. We finalized an extensive candidate selection process for appointments as ambassadors of Ukraine. I have appointed 16 ambassadors," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, personal tasks and performance evaluation criteria were defined for each diplomat.
"Later today, in the format of a meeting with the ambassadors, we will outline the key priorities of Ukrainian diplomacy for the next six months," he said.
Ambassadors change
On July 21, Zelenskyy will hold a conference of Ukraine's ambassadors entitled From the strength of diplomacy to the diplomacy of strength.
Ukrainian diplomats received instructions from Zelenskyy on three key areas of work with partners: arms supplies, rebuilding Ukraine, and sanctions against Russia.
Zelenskyy instructed Sybiha and the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to synchronize sanctions against the Kremlin with Ukraine's partners in all parts of the world.
