Zelenskyy announces important steps before winter: Defense packages and more

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced preparations for important steps to be taken at the beginning of November. The main goal is to prepare for the winter, according to the President's Telegram channel.
"We are already preparing for important steps planned for the first weeks of November. In general, this November and December should be significant for Ukraine," the President stated.
According to Zelenskyy, the main focus will be on new defense packages and the development of relations with the European Union.
"We are also preparing international events scheduled in Ukraine. Our cooperation with partners will remain active," added the head of state.
Preparations for winter
Analysts and experts believe that this winter the occupiers will not be able to leave Ukrainians without electricity. However, recently, for the first time in six months, the Russians attacked Ukraine's power system. There were minor power outages in the capital, Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Rivne regions.
Earlier, Ukrenergo shared whether Ukraine's energy system is ready for a repeat of last winter's scenario.
