At today's Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff meeting, held after the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, strategic-level actions were discussed. This included prospects for maintaining the initiative for Ukraine, according to the evening video address of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the head of the state, there was a "strategic level of discussion: our actions for this year."

"Not only defensive. Ukraine needs an ambitious, active perspective for our state to have the initiative, not the enemy, for the conclusion of the war to depend on Ukrainian actions. The world supports those with a perspective. And this is a fundamental task - to maintain the initiative so that there is an opportunity to become stronger," he emphasized.

The president also mentioned that today he had a separate meeting with the Minister of Defense.

"We are preparing more strength for our state," noted Zelenskyy.

In addition, the operational current situation on the front was discussed at the Staff meeting.

"Commanders reported. Different directions: east, south. Also, the north - resistance to sabotage groups, strengthening the border," the president said.
