Last night, Zaporizhzhia came under enemy fire with the use of, according to preliminary data, guided aerial bombs. The Russian militants struck the city three times, according to the National Police of Ukraine and the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.
According to law enforcement agencies, the Russian army carried out three air strikes on the territory of Zaporizhzhia on the night of October 12 between 2:20 and 2:31 am.
The enemy hit an infrastructure facility, the private sector, and the territory of an equestrian club.
“We know of two wounded citizens, including an 11-year-old child,” the police said, adding that information on the damage and casualties is being clarified.
“Police, rescuers, and other specialized services of the city are working at the sites of enemy strikes,” the police added.
In addition, a mobile appeal point has been deployed where people can seek help or write a statement about damaged property.
Condition of the victims
According to the head of the regional military administration, two people refused hospitalization immediately, and an 11-year-old girl received medical care in a hospital and is now at home.
Earlier, the official reported that women aged 55 and 22, and an 11-year-old girl were injured in Zaporizhzhia due to enemy shelling.
Night air strike in Zaporizhzhia
Last night, on October 12, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia amid warnings of a threat of air strikes. The Ukrainian Air Force recorded the launch of enemy guided aerial bombs.
In the morning, it became known that three people were injured in Zaporizhzhia as a result of a Russian air strike. The State Emergency Service said that emergency rescue operations are underway. In addition, a private house was completely destroyed, and the fires covered 35 square meters.
The military administration also said that the enemy hit private residential buildings and the production facilities of one of the city's enterprises.
