On the night of June 27, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones. The attack caused fires and damage to non-residential buildings, according to the Telegram post by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

He specified that the enemy carried out at least six drone strikes on the regional center during the night.

“Buildings belonging to an industrial enterprise and the area of a garage cooperative were damaged. The attack caused fires,” the statement said.

At the same time, Fedorov added that there were no casualties as a result of the strike.

Attacks on Zaporizhzhia

Russia regularly attacks Zaporizhzhia using drones, as well as missiles.

For example, on the night of June 25, explosions were heard in the city. Ukraine’s Air Force had warned of a drone threat and a high-speed aerial target heading toward the city.

Soon after, it was reported that civilian infrastructure in one of Zaporizhzhia’s districts had been damaged. Houses, outbuildings, and vehicles were affected. In addition, several people were injured.
