Zaporizhzhia hit by Russian attack: One injured, destruction confirmed

Russian forces continue shelling Zaporizhzhia region, targeting residential areas. Overnight, the enemy attacked several villages, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, on Telegram.
In Veselianka, several houses were destroyed in the shelling, and others sustained damage.
Explosions caused a fire, which local firefighters quickly extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties among civilians.
In the village of Richne, private homes came under enemy fire. A 56-year-old man was injured and is receiving all necessary medical care.
Overall, the situation in the Zaporizhzhia district remains tense, with Russian attacks on civilian areas continuing.
Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia
One of the heaviest strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region occurred on July 18, when Russian forces attacked with strike drones.
Significant damage and fires were recorded in non-residential buildings on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia, with one man injured.
At that time, Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, reported that the Ukrainian military had restored several positions near the city of Orikhiv.
The previous large-scale drone attack on Zaporizhzhia took place during the night of July 14–15, when air raid alarms sounded continuously for over 16 hours.
