Yemeni Houthi attacks on Israel
Earlier, in early October, Houthi rebels targeted Israel with a ballistic missile. The Israeli air defense successfully intercepted the hostile missile.
On September 15, a Houthi missile struck central Israel for the first time, but air defense systems intercepted it.
At the end of September, the Houthis also launched a surface-to-surface missile at Tel Aviv’s airport shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plane had landed.
