Russia's night attack on Ukraine
On the night of September 30, Russian occupiers launched yet another combined air attack on Ukraine, employing kamikaze drones, missile weaponry, and aerial bombs. Earlier in the evening, the enemy deployed Shahed attack drones, triggering air raid sirens across several regions.
After 1 AM, an air raid alert was sounded in Kyiv as kamikaze drones approached the city. Shortly after, reports surfaced of the air defense systems engaging in the capital, where explosions were also heard. Active air defense operations were noted across the Kyiv region as Shahed drones were detected.
Explosions were also reported in Kryvyi Rih, where the occupiers had previously launched ballistic missiles at the city.
All of the Shahed kamikaze drones used by the enemy to strike Kyiv were neutralized by air defense forces.
