New roles for Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2026

From spring 2026, the Prince and Princess of Wales will officially grant prestigious Royal Warrants to companies and individuals supplying specific products or services to their family.

The couple received their special titles earlier this year by the decision of King Charles III. Now the future king and queen of the United Kingdom are gradually expanding their duties and influence in preparation for their future roles at the head of the monarchy.

They will be able to publicly recognize and support brands used by the royal family. A Royal Warrant can be granted to a company or individual that has regularly supplied goods or provided services to the Royal Household for at least five of the past seven years.

Benefits for brands

Receiving a Royal Warrant means that a product or service meets the quality, reliability, and reputation standards of the royal family and is recognized as “chosen.”

For businesses, it is not only a mark of prestige but also a powerful branding tool. Companies can use royal symbols in their communications with customers.

Since ascending the throne in 2022, King Charles III and Queen Camilla have actively exercised these powers. They have granted Royal Warrants to the ginger ale brand Schweppes, the cosmetics company Heaven Health and Beauty, and nearly 600 other suppliers.

Prince William is first in line to the throne, followed by Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Next in line are Prince Harry and his children.
