White House confirms no permission for strikes on RF using ATACMS
The United States has allowed Ukraine to use American weapons against Russia, but this does not apply to long-range ATACMS missiles, according to Michael Carpenter, Director for European Affairs at the White House National Security Council.
The US decision to allow Ukraine to strike military targets in Russia with its weapons does not apply to long-range ATACMS missiles.
Carpenter said that the main goal is to enable Ukraine to defend itself, and that is what motivated US President Joe Biden to help Ukraine throughout the war.
