White House advises Putin not to interfere in American elections
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin must not interfere in the U.S. presidential elections, which are scheduled to take place this fall, according to the White House press secretary Andrew Bates.
Bates commented on Putin's recent statement that he would prefer Joe Biden to win the upcoming presidential elections.
"Mr. Putin should stay out of America's elections," emphasized the White House press secretary.
What Putin said exactly
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin recently stated that between Biden and Trump, he would prefer the current president to remain in power, as he is "more experienced person, he is predictable, he is a politician of the old formation."
At the same time, the Kremlin leader added that Russia supposedly would work with any American president.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump considers such a statement a great "compliment."
Trump has repeatedly praised Putin and advocated for an immediate cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, which is beneficial to Russia.
He also recently proposed providing assistance to Ukraine on a credit basis rather than on a free basis, as it is currently happening.
