What to wear? Timeless tip from stylist solves this problem

A Ukrainian stylist has shared a simple formula that will help you quickly put together a stylish outfit when you feel like you have "nothing to wear." It's perfect for summer, when you want to look appropriate but don't want to spend too much time choosing clothes, explains the stylist with the nickname jullztyle on her Instagram.
What to do when you don't know what to wear
It's very simple: choose a few items in the same or similar color palette, and then add a bright accent.
"Monochrome plus a bright accent is a formula that always works," the expert explains.
"Monochrome outfits look stylish, elegant, and appropriate in any situation. And if you add a colorful bag, scarf, or bright shoes, you get a striking look with minimal effort," she emphasizes.
How it works
- Pick out a one-color suit and add a bright bag.
- Wear a white linen shirt and a neutral skirt, but make the accent with shoes or accessories.
- Play with the details, and each outfit looks brand new.
"For example, my white total look with a red bag. It takes minimal effort and gives maximum style. It's been tried and tested not only on me, but on dozens of clients," the stylist notes.
Extra tips
- Make a photo catalog of outfits on your phone. It is perfect when you're short on time.
- Start by checking the weather: shoes and outerwear can set the tone for the whole look.
- Define the mood or goal of your day: comfort, confidence, playfulness, or reserved elegance.
- Sort your clothes by category: organize by type (shirts, pants, skirts, dresses), color, or purpose (casual, formal). This helps you find the right piece faster.
- Invest in high-quality basics in neutral colors (black, white, gray, beige, navy): these can be jeans, plain T-shirts, shirts, a universal blazer, ballet flats, or sneakers. These pieces mix easily with each other and with brighter accents.
