Vylkove in Odesa region under drone attack: explosions reported

Explosions were heard in the city of Vylkove, Odesa region, during the night of June 25. Russian drones were approaching the city, according to local media.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Shahed drones were moving in the direction of Vylkove. Monitoring groups reported more than 10 drones in the area.
Local media reported explosions in Vylkove around 1:20 AM Kyiv time. Air defense systems were actively operating in the city.
Vylkove is located in the south of the Odesa region. The city is often called the Ukrainian Venice due to its layout on islands connected by canals.
On the night of June 12, Russia carried out a second consecutive nighttime strike on the Vylkove territorial community in the Odesa region. The attack damaged civilian infrastructure, including a reed harvesting facility and several apartment buildings. No casualties were reported.
Additionally, Russian forces launched drones over Ukraine on the evening of June 24. UAVs are entering Ukraine from multiple directions.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, hostile drones are flying from the Black Sea area toward the south of the Odesa region and into the Mykolaiv region, as well as from the Kharkiv region heading toward Kharkiv and the Donetsk region.
