Victoria's Secret reveals 2026 show models, but leaves out a former Angel

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2026 is happening this weekend, and the list of models set to walk the runway is taking shape. However, two models who previously walked for the brand won't be in this year's lineup. According to RBC-Ukraine, one of them is former Victoria's Secret Angel Romee Strijd.
Why Romee Strijd wasn't selected for the show
The 31-year-old Dutch model Romee Strijd shared her casting experience on TikTok. She began walking in Victoria's Secret shows in 2014 and became one of the brand's Angels in 2015.
This summer, the model prepared for a possible return to the runway, and in September she traveled to New York for a casting. Afterward, however, she had to wait more than five weeks for a final decision.
Strijd was eventually told she hadn't been selected for this year's show. According to the model, she wasn't selected because she didn't fit the event's concept. She also admitted that the prolonged wait and uncertainty had caused her stress.
Despite her disappointment, the model made it clear she doesn't want to repeat a similar casting experience and prefers to preserve the positive memories of her previous years working with the brand.
Another model who did not make this year's lineup is Frida Aasen. She also confirmed she was not selected.
Who will walk in Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2026?
Models preparing to walk the runway this year include Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Elsa Hosk, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ashley Graham, Joan Smalls, Liu Wen, Paloma Elsesser, Imaan Hammam, Anok Yai, Alex Consani, and Grace Elizabeth.
Alessandra Ambrosio is attracting particular attention, as this year's show will mark her 20th appearance in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The model first walked in the brand's show in 2000.
The event's musical performers will include Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae, Megan Moroney, and the girl group KATSEYE.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2026 is scheduled for October 18 in Los Angeles. The show will be streamed on YouTube and the brand's official social media channels.
