Victoria Beckham unveiled her Spring-Summer 2027 womenswear collection at Paris Fashion Week, combining sharply tailored suits with lightweight sheer dresses and relaxed silhouettes.
Suits and relaxed silhouettes
One key theme of the collection was reimagining classic tailoring by combining structure with lightness. The designer drew inspiration from 1920s dance history, when artists began moving away from the rigid rules of classical choreography and searched for new ways to explore the relationship between the body, movement, and art.
The runway featured elongated, oversized blazers paired with slim, high-waisted trousers. Some suits came in shades of green and blue, with broad shoulders and wide lapels.
For everyday looks, Beckham offered slim trousers and jeans paired with tank tops, lightweight knitted polos, and men's-style cotton shirts in pastel shades.
Sheer dresses and asymmetric details
The collection’s structured tailoring was contrasted with lightweight dresses. Beckham presented sheer georgette styles, pleated dresses, and looks featuring asymmetric lines, cutouts, and decorative bows.
Some dresses were embellished with beads, while others featured floral and bird prints. The designer envisioned the lightweight dresses as appearing to be “suspended” around the body, moving with it.
Oversized bows at the back were another key detail. They appeared both on dresses and in matching skirt-and-top sets.
The designer also drew on the aesthetics of the 1920s, transferring fragments of richly colored backgrounds from portraits of the era onto lightweight dresses and knitwear.
Outerwear and fabrics
The outerwear lineup included cropped parkas styled with sheer dresses, as well as taffeta trench coats, oversized leather jackets, and suede jackets.
In total, Beckham presented 44 looks, focusing on the interplay between sharp construction and soft silhouettes.
New accessories
Accessories were another important part of the collection. Among the new designs were sandals featuring a cutout wedge heel and hand-painted details.
Beckham also introduced a new belt buckle. This time, the signature letter “B” was split in half.
The runway looks were completed with oversized bags carried by the models in their hands.
