Usyk vs Dubois 2: Bookmakers pick winner of heavyweight showdown

Ahead of the much-anticipated rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois, bookmakers revealed their favorite and predicted how the fight for the undisputed heavyweight title might end.
Usyk emerges as the frontrunner
With the July 19 bout in London fast approaching, sportsbooks are heavily favoring Ukrainian fighter Oleksandr Usyk over Britain’s Daniel Dubois.
Odds for a Usyk win range between 1.3 and 1.4, translating to a 75–85% probability. In contrast, bets on Dubois winning come with much longer odds—between 3.4 and 4.3—indicating only a 15–25% chance of victory.
A draw is considered the least likely outcome, with odds ranging from 17 to 20.
How the fight might end
Most predictions suggest Usyk will win—either by decision or via technical knockout.

Usyk to win by decision: 2.1–2.85

What experts are saying
Boxing analysts also overwhelmingly back Usyk, citing his psychological advantage following wins over Tyson Fury and Dubois in their first meeting. However, they caution against underestimating Dubois, who they believe is highly motivated for the rematch.
Tyson Fury himself has hinted several times that Usyk is an extremely tough opponent.
Veteran trainer Teddy Atlas praised Usyk's superior technique and experience, saying Dubois would need a dramatically different approach to change the outcome.
Atlas notes that Dubois's real shot is landing a single massive punch; however, Usyk is too smart to let that happen.
Meanwhile, boxing legend Lennox Lewis believes Dubois has physically matured and gained experience since their last bout. In his view, Dubois has a real shot at becoming the undisputed champion.
What to know about Usyk–Dubois 2
The blockbuster rematch will take place on July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London. The undercard begins at 7:00 p.m. Kyiv time, with the main event scheduled for around 11:30 p.m.
Over 90,000 fans are expected to attend as the two fighters battle for all four major heavyweight belts.
Usyk currently holds the WBA, WBO, and WBC titles, while Dubois carries the IBF belt. The winner will unify the division.
Usyk has a shot at making history by becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion for a second time. For Dubois, this is a chance to avenge his 2023 loss, which was surrounded by controversy.
