Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk has released a short film titled Journey to the Absolute about his ascent to the top of the heavyweight division, according to the athlete's official YouTube channel.

The 37-year-old Ukrainian has been honored with a documentary film. The ten-minute feature serves as a retrospective of his challenging journey to becoming the undisputed world heavyweight champion.

The video includes footage of preparation for each of Usyk's pivotal career bouts. It captures his training and triumphs over Chazz Witherspoon, Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua, Daniel Dubois, and finally Tyson Fury. The film concludes with scenes of the Ukrainian boxer raising the Undisputed belt above his head.

In May, Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight world champion in a quarter-century. The last holder of such a title was British boxer Lennox Lewis. This year will see a rematch between Usyk and the "Gypsy King."

What is known about Usyk vs. Fury 2

Recently, Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority head, Turki Al-Sheikh, disclosed the date for the heavyweight rematch. The rematch is scheduled for December 21st in Riyadh.

If Fury declines the fight, Usyk will have at least three potential opponents lined up. Following the British boxer Dubois (temporary IBF champion), two other heavyweights are next in line – WBA regular champion Charr and WBO interim champion Parker.

In their first bout, the Ukrainian secured victory via a split decision from the judges. Two out of three boxing representatives favored Usyk – 115:112, 114:113.

Earlier we recalled Usyk's most significant victories at the professional level.
