The wife of famous Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, Kateryna, shared a new photo to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

Today, September 25, the Usyks are celebrating 16 years of marriage, and they have been together for over 20 years in total.
"They say marriage requires patience. We've been true champions for 16 years!" she wrote.

Love story of Oleksandr and Kateryna Usyk
Oleksandr and Kateryna met as teenagers. She was 15 and he was starting his boxing career. Their relationship began as a friendship, which later grew into young love.
As Kateryna recalled in an interview, her future husband's first gift was a 5-hryvnia rose.
The couple went through many emotional ups and downs: misunderstandings, disappointments, jealousy, and a few breakups.
Their relationship was not always easy. Sometimes, Oleksandr missed dates, and Kateryna sought comfort in other acquaintances. However, despite a two-year pause, they stayed in touch and eventually reunited.
Over the years, both matured, reflected on their mistakes, and built a strong family that withstood the tests of time and fame. Today, they are considered one of the strongest couples in Ukrainian show business and sports.
They officially married in 2009. Until 2014, the Usyks lived in Crimea, but after Russia's annexation, they moved to the Kyiv region.
The couple has four children: daughter Yelyzaveta (born 2010), son Kyrylo (born 2013), son Mykhailo (born 2015), and daughter Mariia (born 2024).
Their eldest daughter studies dance, the eldest son plays football, and the youngest son plays tennis.
Despite a busy work schedule, the father of four spends most of his free time with his children. He also openly supports all their endeavors.
