The United States may announce the transfer of weapons to Ukraine as part of a new military aid package as early as tomorrow, June 25, according to Holos Ameryky on Telegram.
The source notes that information about the new military aid package for Ukraine from the United States, which will include weapons worth $150 million, was disclosed by an unnamed American official.
However, more detailed information about the specific weapons that Ukrainian defenders will receive is not yet available.
US aid to Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the United States has provided Ukraine with the largest amount of weaponry among all Western countries.
The last time the US announced a new military aid package for Ukraine was a few weeks ago. This package included 155-mm howitzers, rockets for multiple launch rocket systems, and other weapons with a total value of $225 million.
Notably, Washington recently permitted Ukraine to use American weapons to strike Russian territory. However, this does not include the long-range ATACMS missiles that Ukraine received this spring.
