USA is about to announce new package of military aid for Ukraine
The United States of America will soon announce the provision of new weaponry to Ukraine as part of the next package of military aid, according to a briefing by the spokesperson of the U.S. State Department, Matthew Miller.
He declined to comment on the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive, stating that "we will leave it to the Ukrainian military".
"Ukraine has everything it needs to conduct this counteroffensive. We have supplied them with an enormous amount of military equipment as have our allies and partners both in Europe and around the world. And we will continue to do so, so you can expect further announcements of military assistance in the coming days," emphasized Miller.
According to him, the United States, along with other NATO countries, will continue to 'stand firmly" in supporting Ukraine's counteroffensive.
U.S. assistance to Ukraine
As a key ally of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russian occupiers, the United States regularly announces packages of military aid to our country, which includes Abrams tanks, Bradley IFVs, Patriot surface-to-air missile systems, and more.
One of the recent packages included cluster munitions, which our military has already received and begun using.
Furthermore, there were earlier reports in the media that the United States would announce a new package of military aid tomorrow, July 25. The package is expected to include Stryker armored vehicles and more, with an estimated total value of around $400 million.
