US threatened Russia with powerful strike in case of nuclear weapons use - Polish Foreign Ministry

The United States threatened Russia with a powerful strike if it used nuclear weapons, states Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
"The Americans have told the Russians that if you explode a nuke, even if it doesn't kill anybody, we will hit all your targets in Ukraine with conventional weapons, we will destroy all of them," Sikorski said.
He noted that, in his opinion, this is a real threat.
"Also, the Chinese and the Indians have read Russia the riot act. And it’s no child’s play because if that taboo were also to be breached, like the taboo of not changing borders by force, China knows that Japan and Korea would go nuclear, and presumably they don’t want that," the Polish Foreign Minister added.
Sikorski also said that Poland supports Ukraine's strikes on military facilities in Russia.
Putin's nuclear statements
Russian leader Vladimir Putin has repeatedly frightened the world with his threats to use nuclear weapons. He began to do so after launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
His statements have forced Western leaders to consider a possible response to Putin's statements. In particular, we wrote that the United States is increasing the production of bombs to destroy underground nuclear facilities.
