US supports Zelenskyy's victory plan - White House
The US is still discussing the details of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's victory plan. However, Washington supports this initiative, according to a statement from the White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, John Kirby.
"We are obviously still digging through the details of it. So I’m not going to get into nuts and bolts on every little item in it. But I will say that as we made clear, we support President Zelenskyy‘s plan for a just peace," emphasized Kirby.
He added that it is very important for the peace that is achieved to be recognized by Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people.
Kirby also assured that the US has no intention of discussing Ukraine without Ukraine with foreign leaders who do not accept Zelenskyy’s plans for a just peace.
Victory plan
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented his victory plan to US President Joe Biden back in September. This was the main objective of his visit to the United States.
According to the Ukrainian leader, a visit to Ukraine by a team from the White House is expected soon, which will provide feedback on the victory plan.
