The United States has limited the supply of military aid not only to Ukraine. Other countries have also lost priority in receiving American weapons, CBS News reports.

In particular, a White House official noted that the suspension of weapons supplies to Ukraine is part of a broader review being conducted by the Pentagon. The review began several weeks ago at the direction of US President Donald Trump.

The official explained that the review was carried out to ensure that the Pentagon under the previous administration was "prioritizing America's needs."

"Although the Ukraine pause is what leaked to the media, the White House official said some other countries have been 'reclassified' as well, meaning, they have been de-prioritized for receiving weapons and munitions from the US, " the statement says.

The official did not name these countries and did not say how long the pause in some supplies to Ukraine might last.

US suspends aid to Ukraine

Western media previously reported the suspension of military aid supplies to Ukraine by the United States. This information was later confirmed by the White House, explaining the decision by stating that America's interests must come first.

According to media reports, the United States temporarily halted the supply of artillery shells, Stinger missiles, Patriot missiles, and more. The WSJ clarified that this also concerns weapons already stored in warehouses in Poland.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is negotiating with Washington regarding the details of supplying defense support.

At the same time, the US State Department emphasizes that it has not stopped all weapons supplies to Ukraine.
