US Democratic Party approval rating hits 35-year low

The US Democratic Party’s trust rating has dropped to its lowest level in 35 years, according to The Wall Street Journal.
According to public opinion polling data, Americans now show greater approval for the Republican Party’s performance.
Specifically, 63% of respondents disapprove of the Democratic Party’s work, while only 33% say they are satisfied with its performance.
Only 8% of voters view the Democratic Party "very positively," compared to 19% who say the same about the Republican Party.
At the same time, disapproval of US President Donald Trump and his administration is also growing. Voters are increasingly dissatisfied with how the administration is handling inflation and its tariff policies.
Trump's approval rating
As previously reported, on the 100th day of his presidency, Donald Trump faced the lowest approval rating among recent US presidents.
His current numbers fall short even of the ratings he held eight years ago during his first term.
Americans have expressed growing concern over the president’s attempts to expand his authority, which has contributed to the decline in public support.
