On Tuesday, March 11, a meeting took place between the US and Ukraine in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, regarding the end of the war. During the negotiations, the resignation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was not discussed, according to Fox News journalist Nana Sajaia.

"Source directly involved in the US - Ukraine talks tells me - holding elections or president Zelenskyy’s resignation were not discussed in Jeddah," she stated.

The discussion began when, in February, US President Donald Trump called Zelenskyy a "dictator without elections." Later, Trump hinted at the need to hold elections in Ukraine and once claimed that Zelenskyy's approval rating was supposedly just 4%. However, when asked by journalists, he later stated he did not remember calling the Ukrainian president a dictator and that he could have said that.
