US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink responded to the missile strike on Kyiv on April 6 in her post on X. The diplomat mentioned Russia in a post following the "weak" reaction to the terrorist strike on Kryvyi Rih.

"As of 6:30 am, Kyiv and the rest of Ukraine remain under a ballistic and cruise missile attack from Russia. Loud explosions in the capital and reports of attacks in multiple cities," the ambassador wrote.

In the comments to the post, users pointed out that the phrasing "from Russia" may not be entirely accurate.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenco, also responded to Brink’s post.

"The word 'Russia' has been used. Progress," Kovalenco wrote on his Telegram.

It is worth noting that US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink reacted to the Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. However, in her post, the diplomat did not mention that it was a Russian missile that struck the city, resulting in the deaths of 18 people, including nine children.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he was "disappointed" by the weak response from the US embassy.

"Unfortunately, I’m disappointed by the reaction from the American embassy: such a strong country, such a strong people – and such a weak response. They are even afraid to say the word 'Russian' when talking about the missile that killed children," the president emphasized.
