A New Jersey senator established a limited state of emergency as unknown drones have been in sight for a few weeks. He claims the emergency state is enforced to determine the origin of drones and eliminate them, according to ABC News.

New Jersey is facing growing concerns over mysterious large drones spotted in various locations. This led to State Senator Jon Bramnick establishing a limited state of emergency to ban drones until their origins and purposes are clarified.

In his announcement on Tuesday, Bramnick stated that "The State of New Jersey should issue a limited state of emergency banning all drones until the public receives an explanation regarding these multiple sightings".

There were a few reports from locals about mysterious drones being spotted over their houses. The experts state they are not similar to the average type used by videographers or bloggers, as the ones spotted appear to be much bigger.

Officials confirm the drones are not linked to Picatinny Arsenal, a local military facility. Picatinny Arsenal Garrison Commander, Craig Bonham assured the locals he could guarantee that the drones are not related to any Picatinny Arsenal activities.

The issue has sparked demands for action from 21 New Jersey mayors, who have written to Governor Phil Murphy. A closed briefing with state officials is scheduled to address the matter. Despite ongoing investigations by local, state, and federal authorities, including the FBI, the drones' source and motive remain unknown.
