Unexploded Russian ballistic missile being defused among homes in Kyiv

On October 7, an unexploded Russian ballistic missile was discovered in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, reports the National Police of Kyiv.
"Attention, citizens! In the Darnytskyi district, police and the State Emergency Service are carrying out complex bomb disposal operations on an unexploded ballistic missile discovered among residential buildings, which the enemy launched at the capital overnight," police said.
The object was discovered among residential buildings.
The Kyiv Main Department of the National Police also clarified that bomb disposal experts from the Kyiv police and State Emergency Service units are currently working at the scene.

They explained that specialists will remove the warhead and then transport it for further disposal, which will take place at a training ground.

"Access for city residents to the specified area is restricted," police emphasized.
They also urged residents of the capital not to approach the site of the operations.

If other suspicious objects are discovered, people should immediately call the emergency numbers 101 or 102.
