What surprise can be found in broccoli

A blogger showed how one user was amazed when she placed broccoli on foil and then noticed green aphids. There were a lot of them. Furthermore, other insects could also be seen.

Of course, not everyone knows that sometimes this really happens. That's why it's important to wash vegetables and carefully check if there are any insects lurking there. The worms in broccoli surprised many users. However, the blogger explained how to deal with such an issue.

How to soak broccoli to wash away worms and bugs

The blogger advises preparing a special solution in which you need to soak broccoli for 5-10 minutes. To prepare it, you'll need:

  • 2 cups of vinegar
  • Juice of half a lime or lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • 3.5 liters of water.

Simply mix all of this in a large bowl or pot. In the liquid with vinegar and salt, the insects will crawl out of the broccoli, after which it needs to be thoroughly rinsed under running water. This way, you definitely won't receive any extra protein in the form of insects.
