Russia's mass attack on Ukraine on 14 November
During the night of 14 November, Russia launched widespread air attacks across Ukraine, with Kyiv and the region, as well as the Poltava, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Cherkasy regions, suffering the most.
Russia used Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, Kalibr and Tsirkon cruise missiles, as well as Shahed, Geran, and other types of drones.
The massive strike and air-defense engagements resulted in casualties and injuries, along with numerous fires and damage to civilian and critical infrastructure.
In Kyiv alone, according to the latest official data, six people were killed. Up to 40 were injured, some in serious condition.
There were multiple fires in high-rise buildings and private homes, warehouses, vehicles, and open areas, including rooftops.
The attack also caused widespread outages of electricity, gas, and water in Kyiv and other cities and towns across Ukraine.
