Ukrainians face apprehension at borders of Poland and Germany: SPRAVDI debunked another fake
Ukrainian refugees allegedly being intercepted at the Polish-German border and sent to the front lines. However, this information has proven to be another propagandist hoax, states the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security.
What proceeded this
In recent days, information about Ukrainian refugees has circulated on social media. Allegedly, checkpoints have been set up at the Polish-German border where potential Ukrainian conscripts are being detained.
What really happened
As explained by SPRAVDI, the checkpoints have no connection to Ukraine. These security measures are related to the influx of illegal migrants and the activities of smugglers at the borders of EU countries.
Head of the Press and Information Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Ilarion Pavlyuk, clarified that the ministry is not implementing any measures that would exert pressure on Ukrainian conscripts who have left the country.
Russian fakes and propaganda
The deliberate spread of misinformation is a favored tactic of Russian propaganda. In doing so, the terrorist state seeks to destabilize the situation in other countries or attempt to sow discord within societies.
As an example, intelligence recently warned of that Russia preparing another powerful information-psychological campaign against our country, using the theme of presidential elections.
