Russian forces on December 10 attempted a breakthrough toward the village of Hryshyne, south of Pokrovsk, using a column of motorcycles and quad bikes, according to the 7th Air Assault Corps.
It is noted that the attempted advance took place in parallel with a mechanized assault on another section of the same axis.
According to available information, the enemy halted near a severed logistics route, after which Ukrainian units carried out targeted strikes on the column. The engagement was conducted by drone operators in coordination with artillery.
After the column was destroyed, the remaining Russian infantry attempted to disperse across open fields and forest belts, but were eliminated during subsequent clearing operations.

Fighting for Pokrovsk
As a reminder, earlier Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold the defense of the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration despite increased pressure from Russian forces.
According to him, after hearing reports from corps and unit commanders, specific measures were identified to strengthen defensive lines and improve the effectiveness of Ukrainian forces.
At the same time, on December 12, Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov claimed the alleged complete occupation of Pokrovsk while being in the city center. However, the 7th Air Assault Corps refuted this information, noting that the enemy is unable to break through the defenses in the north and that Ukrainian troops easily knocked down a Russian flag using a drone.
